Road Safety Lessons for Pupils at Ysgol y Gorlan, Tremadog

Recently Year 1 and 2 pupils at Ysgol y Gorlan, Tremadog learned about road safety as part of the Kerbcraft scheme that is administered by Gwynedd Council. Kerbcraft promotes child safety and is funded by the Welsh Government.

Under the supervision of Shirley Wyn Williams, from Gwynedd Council, the pupils have been making the most of the Kerbcraft scheme. The scheme has taught the children how to be safe pedestrians when going out to the side of the road and taught them to make correct decisions and how to cope with traffic to keep them safe.

After completing the scheme all the pupils received a certificate and a fluorescent bag by Careful Carys, Gwynedd Council's road safety character.
