Cyclists and motorists
At the beginning of November a new road safety campaign was launched aimed at protecting some of the most vulnerable road users .
Last year more than 19,000 cyclists were killed or injured in the UK in road traffic collisions .
A new campaign by the Gwynedd Môn Road Safety Partnership is aimed at raising awareness among all road users to be more conscious and mindful of one another .
The key message of the campaign is to encourage cyclists to make sure they are more visible on the road and to ensure motorists are aware of cyclists and give them plenty of room .
The Gwynedd Môn Road safety Partnership have distributed intervention flyers / posters in public buildings throughout Anglesey and Gwynedd to remind road users of these important messages .
