A new road safety campaign is being launched at the Etape Eryri event Sunday 16th of June aimed at protecting some of the most vulnerable road users - cyclists .
Last year more than 19,000 cyclists were killed or injured in the UK in road traffic collisions .
The Gwynedd Môn Road Safety Partnership are committed in ensuring that the roads of both counties are safe for all road users .
This latest campaign by the Partnership is aimed at raising awareness among all road users to be more conscious and mindful of one another .
The key message of the campaign is to encourage cyclists to make sure they are more visible on the road and to ensure motorists are aware of cyclists giving them plenty of room , a minimum of 1.5 Meters .
