Calling Motorcyclists in Gwynedd and Anglesey
Calling all motorcyclists, although for some riding a motorcycle is a year round activity for many their pride and joy is placed under wraps until the spring. However, it is time to prepare for your anticipated activity now. Why not consider a BikeSafe facility near you. BikeSafe intends to enlighten riders to the true risk of riding power two wheelers on today’s roads and how the solution can be found within the ‘System of Motorcycle Control’. The police and advanced riders use the System to ensure they can ride to the best of their ability at the lowest risk. Additionally, the attendant will be provided an on road Assessment and take away the Development Form for future reference. Once completed, they will be issued a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ which can attract insurance discount. The workshops are held throughout Wales as they are in the rest of the UK and although they are very reasonably priced with further financial support in some areas they are free (subject to a booking fee only). BikeSafe is a Police initiative supported by our partners concerned with motorcycle road safety. It is a none commercial facility. The workshops are held over one-day unless you take advantage of the ‘Bridging the Gap’ two-day event. This is a BikeSafe day followed by an introduction to training the next day provided by a training organisation. So go on book yours now.
