Abererch pupils urge motorists to slow down!

Following concerns from the community about road safety issues in the vicinity of Ysgol Abererch, Gwynedd Council’s Transportation and Street Care Service worked together with the pupils at the school to address the problem.
After discussions, and with the aim of reducing the risk to pupils who attend the school, the pupils were asked to participate in a competition to create a poster aimed at encouraging drivers not to speed in the vicinity of the school.
The posters presented by the pupils were of a very high standard, which made judging very difficult. However one of the winners of the competition was Harry Walker. Many congratulations to him and to all the pupils who took part!
