On Wednesday, 21 February 2018, Aaron Flanagan from Caernarfon was presented with a cheque of £250 by staff from Gwynedd Council’s Road Safety Unit.

Aaron Flanagan attended Pass Plus Cymru in November 2017 and was randomly selected by Road Safety Wales from drivers across Wales who had completed and returned evaluation questionnaires.

Pass Plus Cymru is a short, expert-led higher driving course designed for young people to widen experience and develop driving techniques such as driving at night, on the motorway, through country lanes or busy towns.

Aaron said: “I decided to take the course to get more experience and hopefully lower my car insurance, and I’m very pleased to have won the prize draw.”

The Pass Plus Cymru course costs £20 and is delivered in Gwynedd by the Council’s Road Safety team, and funded by Welsh Government.

Congratulations to Aaron from all of Gwynedd’s Road Safety Team.
